The autumn brings jewel toned leaves in Belgium and the grape harvests in Italy. And in winter, the cobblestone streets and soaring mountaintops are dusted with snow and the most wondrous Christmas markets in the world. Even in the rainy season, from mid-October to March, it's still a stunning place to visit. You'll be hard-pressed to find a more beautiful city in dreary conditions than Paris in the rain.
